Get Laura yet he can't turn her away But before Brad can wrap her in his protection will their reunion be cut short by a killer threatening to silence Laura forever? The Cold Case Files Uncovering secrets of the pa I liked how Brad and Laura found their way through their history and back to each other I thought the twists were good but could have been foreshadowed better I also didn't really like that the original break up seemed to be completely Laura's fault While she comes to terms with her short comings Brad doesn't seem to grow as much

Sandra Robbins is an excellent author of romantic suspense; this is the first in a new series of 'cold cases' Laura needs the assistance of ex fiancé a cold case detective if she is every able to get justice for her murdered parents as the uestions she has been asking are almost the death literally of her Exciting suspenseful hard to put down races to a pulse pounding denouement Highly recommend this clean read Christian mystery with hint of romance

Ugh This book couldn't decide whether it was a mystery Christian fiction a police procedural or a love story It was effectively none of those things for longer than a chapter at a timeWhat a mess

  5. says:

The storyline was good but the author repeated everything twice like she was afraid we wouldn't catch what was being said the first time around It was annoying And I knew who the bad guy was from the beginning so it wasn't very suspenseful

A lot of times when you read a book it’s very predictable this one absolutely is not the writer is amazing I believe this is the first book I read by her and I pray there are many to come if you have not read books by this author and you like Christian fiction you really need to read her writing

Laura and Brad have been in love since they were 14 High school and college sweethearts but then Laura felt the need to get away from her bad memories and leaves town breaking their engagement Six years later she's back in town and Brad has been put in charge of Cold Cases for the police department The murder of Laura's parents 20 years earlier is his first case to consider and after Laura does an interview in tv all heck breaks loose Together they work on the case If you've read Sandra's other books you are familiar with Laura's brother Mark from 'Fatal Disclosure' Very good story
