Some good ideas More business oriented but after reading I mapped out the next 3 7 years of what I think might happen particularly in my family This helps with budgeting for large expenses and also seeing how you can accomplish your family's long term goals I map out what my kids will likely be doing based on their age; my savings goals in preparation for retirement; and where we want to travel as a family Will extend to other areas as I can think of them This book gave me the idea to do that but again the book is oriented toward running a business than running a family

This is a useful book especially if you find it difficult to anticipate trends that impact your work and your life Unlike much advice on the topic the exercises in the book are clear specific and lead to insights that are personally relevant The writing is serviceable if not overwhelmingly inspiring The examples are useful for illustrating the themes of the book One of the nice features of this book is that you can skim or skip over the parts you already understand without losing much Definitely worth a read or at least a skim
