    This is basically Archimandrite Sergius's spirituality class in book form and it is a wonderful little series of essays and sermons on the spiritual life It is one of the most applicable works of eastern orthodoxy theology I've come across for lay and monastic in a while He provides and explains the importance of a prayer rule uite clearly I highly recommend this book to all orthodox christians

    I’d give this book 6 stars if I could Fr Sergius is an excellent communicator and is able to explain different theological concepts in an understandable way I particularly loved his short and sweet sermons I’ll have to reread this book again to understand deeply some issues that I simply couldn’t grasp the first time around but only because breastfeeding while reading these kinds of books don’t always mix Anyway this bo
